Waterbird Identification and Survey Techniques Training

For the past two years, NCE, in collaboration with Sobek Planet and supported by OSME, has been conducting training courses on waterbird identification and survey techniques. Held in the Important Bird Area of the Aswan Reservoir, the training attracted university students, birdwatchers, photographers, and tour operators. The diverse waterbird species in the area provided a rich learning environment for participants to gain practical experience in bird surveying, identification, and the scientific principles underpinning bird monitoring initiatives.
